What’s up, babydolls ♡ So it ain’t no secret.. We’re obsessing over Kimmy K right now, and specifically her AMAZE blue eyeshadow look she’s been rockin’. Get ready for some inspo...
We were a bit hesitant at first, because blue can be a lil’ intimidating. So we asked our fab Beauty Buyer / Makeup Guru, April, to show us how to get the look (and nail it). So let’s find out how to achieve a subtle version of Kim’s bangin’ look with our Ofra Cosmetics ‘Free Spirit’ Palette, in 4 easy steps:
1 - PREP THE EYE WITH NEUTRAL SHADES
We want the shadow to pop. So start off with Latte (the beige shade in the palette) all over the lid, and then add in French Mocha (the neutral beige shade) in the crease 🙏🏼 What this is going to do is make sure the blue shade goes on smoothly and stands out #YASSS ✨
2 - TIME TO ADD THE BLUE
It’s TIME. Don’t get nervous. Pick up a touch of the Bright Blue shade in the palette (not too much!) and tap off the excess. We want to make sure we’re not being too heavy. Start by adding it to the lower lash line, and then bring it up around the top corner of the eye. From there, you can add it to the top lash line. VOILA! 🌟 PS. We used the Detailer Brush from our Real Techniques Core collection.
3 - START SMOKIN’ & BLENDIN’
We want the eye to look effortless and smoked out, so grab a fluffy brush (we can’t live without our Real Techniques Eye Shade & Blend Brushes). From here, start blending out the blue shade using circular motions 💃🏼 What this is going to do is blend it out and make it look a lil’ more smokey.
4 - YOU’RE READY TO HIT THE TOWN 💁🏼
