At the beginning of June, some of the team at Princess Polly shared our gratitude to the world. As part of our campaign we worked with the lovely film intern Shiva, of SKN Productions, to create some clips of the team sharing their gratitude. The bubbly Shiva was one of the lovely interns we selected from our recent Film Intern comp!
Find out a little more about her in our quick Q&A and view her clips below…
Age: 19. Where are you studying: Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane. What are you grateful for? The supportive people in my life and the great opportunities I have been presented with along the way. Saying you use way too much: Technology. Living person you most admire: My father. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? LA, USA. Favourite movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Beauty, Moulin Rouge. What is your passion: To create compelling cinematic stories that leave people inspired and to lead a life that makes me happy, above all else. Why Film? Movies are the most emotionally engaging artform - a picture window into a world that never existed. It's amazing that we can apply everything we know in today’s world and more into a visual story that millions of people watch, share, discuss and debate on. It would be hard to imagine a world without films. Guilty pleasure: I read scripts from time to time and when I start one, I can't stop until it's done. Songs on repeat right now: "I'm Into You" by Chet Faker, "Luna" by Bombay Bicycle Club, and "West Coast" by Coconut Records. Hero: Old "Disney Movies" not only because they bring back feelings of nostalgia but they also help me remember that nothing’s impossible and if there's a will, there's a way. Favourite apps: Scripts Pro, Paper by 53, Variety. Best advice ever been given: "Get on with it"
