FALSE LASHES:

Alana uses Ardell 110 Natural Lashes with Ardell Lashgrip Strip Dark Adhesive on Emily.

These are "strip" lashes, which are much easier to apply than individual lashes. So, if you're a beginner or just learning to apply false lashes, these are the ones you want!

TIPS & TRICKS:

⨯ Put the adhesive on the lash and let it dry a little bit so it gets "tacky" before you apply the lash to your lid. This will prevent the lash from sliding around on your eye.

⨯ Trim the ends of the false lashes with scissors so they fit your eye perfectly.

⨯ Put mascara on after your lashes are set. This will join the falsies to your real lashes and will make them look more natural.

⨯ Use dark adhesive so it dries black.

⨯ If you use clear adhesive or don't like the way the glue has dried, go over it with liner to hide it.

⨯ Apply black eyeshadow shadow over the top of the liner to blend it through and soften the look.

NAIL POLISH:

We painted Em's nails with Butter London Over the Moon Patent Shine Lacquer ($25). It's beautiful pastel Khaki colour and it's so on trend right now.
