CHARLOTTE - SOCIAL MEDIA
PHOENIX DENIM JACKET with BLOOM PATCH and WHITE BANDANA
Charlotte's tip: To cover the pockets of with fabric, I made a stencil by putting tracing paper on top of the pocket and tracing the outline with a pencil. Then I used that stencil to cut out the shape on the bandana. You can do this for any part of your jacket that you want to cover with fabric (i.e. the collar, cuffs etc) And if you don't have tracing paper, you can use baking paper.

Lucy's tip: If your patches are iron on, don't iron directly onto the patch. Use a piece of fabric - eg. a bandana or tea towel to avoid damaging your patch!

Jacinta's tip: It doesn't have to be denim or leather. Patches also look sick on bombers!

Courtney's tip: You can cut the patches with scissors to customise them. I cut off some of the leaves and stem on the Dainty Rose Patch.

Dane's tip: If you want to make a cool jacket for your bf/dad/brother, The Western Denim fits guys like a normal denim jacket and looks rad!

Kim's tip: If you want to go hard on the studs, use little rhinestones instead as a cheaper option. Look for self-adhesive ones so you can stick them down in your planning stages and once you have finalised your design, stick them down with a hot glue gun!

THE JAX JACKET with DAINTY ROSE PATCH
Anne's tip: If you want writing on your jacket, print a little quote in your favourite font, cut it out with a stanley knife and use that as a stencil to paint it on! Make sure you look for the right fabric paint so it stays in place.
